Thesis colors
The color of the thesis usually needs to be chosen according to the requirements of the school or department. Usually, the school or department will give clear guidelines on the formatting requirements such as the cover, Chinese and English headings, font size, line spacing, word count, margins, etc. of the thesis.
When typesetting your thesis, you need to consider the overall layout and aesthetics, including the selection of appropriate colors and fonts, in order to highlight the theme and focus of the thesis and enhance the overall visual effect. If the school or faculty does not give clear color requirements, consider the following:
1. Focus on aesthetic and scientific principles, and do not choose colors that are too bright and harsh. A softer and more natural color scheme is more likely to have an aesthetic effect.
2. Harmonize the colors with the theme. If it is a design thesis, the colors can echo with the design elements to strengthen the design sense; if it is a scientific thesis, the colors can be associated with the research field to highlight professionalism.
3. follow the industry or government color norms. For example, thesis of civil engineering can choose the color system symbolizing earthy yellow, and thesis of medical science can choose the blue system representing medical treatment.
In short, the choice of color for the thesis should take full account of personal preference and professionalism, comply with school or faculty regulations, and respect academic norms and ethical standards. Moreover, regardless of the color choice, the overall requirements of the academic code and the structure of the thesis must be met to ensure the quality and academic recognition of the thesis.
